About Macarthur As well as a great range of facilities on site, Gregory Hills is part of the vibrant and growing Macarthur region. The region has an expanded range of businesses - including manufacturing, retail, professional services and medical facilities - coupled with a great range of schools and the University of Western Sydney.

Our History

Gregory Hills is built on land which was formerly St Gregory's College Farm. This land was donated to the Marist Brothers by Thomas Donovan in the 1920's with the intent that it would provide an opportunity for boys to learn the skills required to follow an occupation on the land. Much of the early school infrastructure including the Chapel, classrooms and the first dormitory were also donated by Mr Donovan. The modern Gregory Hills community has honoured the history of Gregory Hills in the naming of our parks and streets. St Gregory's continues these traditions at the doorstep of Gregory Hills.
