The Mayor of Camden, Cr Lara Symkowiak, opened the latest new park at Gregory Hills on 25 March 2015. Cr Symkowiak was joined by representatives from the Marist Brothers, the original landowner at Gregory Hills, as well as the development team from Dart West. The landscape architect, Distinctive, and the contractor, Rodmar Landscaping, also joined in the ceremony.

Currawong Park is the sixth park to be delivered in the first four years of Gregory Hills. It features both shady tree covered areas and wide open spaces, providing space for everyone. BBQ facilities, playground equipment and shelters make the park the ideal place to get together with family and friends.
